Just One

On Monday, we thought we potentially were in for two, but our sonogram showed the proof of only one little tiny baby (possibly girl?). Obviously this soon we couldn't get a solid answer, and we aren't sure that we want to know before he or she is born. So, Grace is disappointed that we don't have the possibility of evening things up with twin girls, but she is holding out hope that Faith will be the name of this little one!

The Pool is Open!

Yesterday while I was filling up the pool for the kids, they were all so anxious that five were in there before there was even an inch of water. They shivered and chattered and finally Ethan had a brilliant idea! "Mommy, go flush the toilet, that will make the hose water hot!" Joy agreed wholeheartedly, "yeah, that always works!". Just try and explain that one will ya! Anyway, it filled up and the kids didn't mind the cold anymore, and they had a great time!

SALSA!

Way back when I was pregnant with Zach and craving Taco Bell's 1lb burritos at 10am and thinking how ridiculous it was that they didn't open till 11, I never imagined that this would effect my unborn child, but today, beyond a doubt I see the reproductions of my burrito addiction! This morning while I was enjoying my morning snack of chips and salsa, which is a "normal" craving for me about 9:30 or 10 in the morning, Zach hoped into the chair next to me and dug in! Salsa, he LOVES it. I already knew he was a fan of Mexican food, especially rice, but I never gave him salsa before, too spicy-or so I thought! He was all over it though! I fought him off for the last scoop! This was so funny, he gave me this dirty look, like, 'how could you!' Anyway, I don't think this goes for a boy/girl thing, because I have a friend that craved Mexican with one of her girls and Chinese with the other and oddly enough those are her girls favorite foods now too.

Doll Houses

The kids made little doll houses today. Just four rooms to decorate, and they are having a blast playing with them! Foam core board for the walls and floor, and scrapbook paper to decorate it with. They cut out pictures in magazines to decorate their rooms, they even found little "area rugs" to put around. Now they want to figure out how to make some furniture from stuff around the house, Craft sticks and things! Go for it, I say! Aren't they colorful? They did a great job.

Ice Cream or Mashed Potatoes?

This evening when given the choice, vanilla ice cream or mashed potatoes, what did I choose? Duh! Mashed potatoes, with some shredded cheese and bacon bits! YUM! Shhhh! I think I might be pregnant! By the way, Rob had the ice cream, he said it was good too.
